Jean Anderson
The main thrust of my testimony centers around God’s faithfulness through the refining fire in my life. We have shared our testimony of God’s grace on the 100 Huntley Street Christian Television Program; Marriage Encounter; and our local churches. We rejoice in how God has used both my husband and me in bringing God’s healing to others through our willingness to become vulnerable in sharing our story.
Two new avenues of ministry have opened up to us in our retirement years. God has called John and me into working as full-time voluntary staff with Dunamis Ministries International.
Also I have recently finished a writing course. Some of my articles have appeared in the PAOC Testimony as well as other magazines. In the near future I hope to begin writing my autobiography of how God was with me through my Refining Fire. Having had the privilege of visiting a gold mine, I saw firsthand how gold can only become pure through the extreme heat process. We as God’s children strength our faith and endurance as we allow Him to take us through the fire so that He may purify us to make us worthy in our service to Him.
It is my prayer that through sharing our story, to be able to facilitate in bringing wholeness to the body of Christ and to help those who have kept silent out of shame, to be willing to open up so they, too, can receive God’s healing whether it be spiritual, physical, or emotional .
Topics I am willing to share on from my own personal experiences include:
- Healing and forgiveness from an adulterous relationship and other marriage struggles
- Healing through loss and grief.
- How God helped me to believe for the restoration of our prodigal son and wants to do the same for others. .
- Trusting God in the Midst of Your Storms
- Learning to trust God through Bankruptcy and other financial disasters
- Set free from deep depression caused by deep hurt and rejection
- Trusting God and seeing Him miraculously healing our daughter.
